Boutique Hotel Rooms

The Park Hotel offers three beautifully appointed boutique-style rooms, located up a flight of stairs in our historic hotel. All rooms feature a luxury king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, minibar, Nespresso machine, Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer and iron.

Handy for our regular corporate travellers and longer stays, we also provide shared laundry facilities and a communal kitchen stocked with breakfast supplies, including milk, cereals, bacon and eggs, so you can cook your own breakfast at your leisure.

The largest and most popular is the Matthews Suite, a spacious two-room suite with a separate sitting room and open gas fireplace, leading through to a king-size bedroom with a luxurious spa.

Stay for a night or two, enjoy the welcoming hospitality of our team and join us for lunch or dinner in the Front Bar, Dining Room or Saloon Bar before heading upstairs for a good night's sleep.

Please note: Our boutique rooms are not dog-friendly. If you're travelling with your dog, please explore our dedicated dog-friendly cabins.

Self-Contained Cabins

Our 14 self-contained cabins offer another way to stay at the Park, with more room to settle in for families, groups and travellers spending a little longer in Mount Gambier.

Located behind the Park Hotel, away from the main thoroughfare, each cabin has its own car park. Each cabin sleeps up to six guests, with a queen-size bed and four single bunks, plus a private bathroom, kitchen, small living area and outdoor deck with seating.

Make yourself at home with all the comforts of a self-contained stay, while still having the hotel bar & bistro just a short walk from your cabin door. Our Sip'n Save Bottle Shop is also open seven days a week for drinks, snacks and ice supplies during your stay.

Four of our cabins are dog-friendly, welcoming up to two dogs per cabin, with access to a shared private-access dog yard. If you're bringing your dog, please select a designated dog-friendly cabin when booking, as dogs are not permitted in our standard cabins.

Please note: Our cabins are not designated as accessible accommodation. Entry is via two steps up to the deck. Once inside, the cabin is on one level with no internal steps. The shower has a small raised base and there are no grab rails in the bathroom. If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact us before booking and our team will be happy to talk you through the cabin layout.
